FAQ
How do I book a photo session with you?
It’s simple! Fill out my contact form with your session details (and tell me all about your ideas!). I’ll reply with my pricing, availability, and any info you need. Once you pick your date, a signed contract and retainer make it official—then we can start planning all the fun stuff together!
How long till I receive the final photos?
For couples sessions, you’ll receive your full gallery in about 3-4 weeks. For weddings and elopements, it’s usually 8-10 weeks. I always send sneak peeks within a few days, though—I know how hard it is to wait!
What is your cancellation or rescheduling policy?
Life happens! If you need to reschedule, just let me know as soon as possible and I’ll do my best to help. Retainers are non-refundable since they hold your date, and my calendar usually books up about 14 days in advance. Because of that, rescheduling isn’t always guaranteed and will depend on what’s still available. I’ll always try to make it work, but please keep in mind that options may be limited as we get closer to your session—especially here in Hawai‘i with our unpredictable weather.
What should we wear for our session?
Don’t stress it—I got you! Once you’re booked, I’ll share a style and prep guide that walks you through what photographs best, color suggestions, and how to match without being too matchy. My biggest tip: choose outfits that feel like you and move comfortably (we’ll be laughing, walking, maybe even running!). Neutral tones and minimal or no patterns help keep your photos timeless and let the focus stay on you, not your clothes.
Can I request specific poses or shots?
Of course! I always ask about your must-have shots before your session, especially if there’s something meaningful to you. During your shoot, I’ll guide you naturally so nothing feels stiff or forced—we’ll capture genuine moments while still getting the shots you care about most.
Do you offer digital files, prints, or albums?
Every session includes a beautiful online gallery with high-resolution digital downloads. You’ll also have the option to order prints, wall art, and albums directly through your gallery (so easy!). I’m a huge fan of tangible memories, so I’m always happy to help you design something special.
Do you travel for destination weddings?
Absolutely! Whether it’s another island or halfway across the world, I’m always down for an adventure. I’ve photographed all across Oahu, but if your love story takes us to Maui, Kauai, or beyond—count me in. Travel fees depend on the location, but I’ll send you a clear quote before anything’s booked.
Do you have a recommended vendors list?
Yes! I’ve worked with so many amazing vendors across Oahu and beyond—from planners and florists to makeup artists and videographers. I’m happy to share my list of trusted favorites who match my style and values, so your day feels seamless from start to finish.
